Mechanically, this Van is essentially a Chevy truck so finding parts to get it running shouldn’t be too difficult. Clearly, this is going to be a big project, but the hard to find parts seem to be present. Lance and his Dad have built some really cool vehicles, including some other sweet step vans, but they haven’t built a Dubl Duty before. Those few pieces of paper are a huge bonus for Lance, as they give him a good look at what this van was like new and proves that it isn’t someone’s custom creation. As an added bonus, Trent happened to find an original sales brochure for the Van at an estate sale. Can you blame him though? It might be rough, but you just don’t find ones like this often. This looks like it would be a fun place to spend some time just walking around! A few minutes of the video is spent doing just that, so be sure to check out to see what else they find.īack to the Dubl Duty! You can tell the minute that Lance sees this van that he has to have it. The owner of this Van, Trent, has a massive collection of rusty old cars (about 3,000)! This Dubl Duty might be one of the more unique finds there, but it looks like there are some other really cool cars and apparently they are still finding and buying more. You can watch this amazing find unfold here on YouTube. It could very well be the only one left in the world! Honestly, I’ve never seen one quite like it either. What they found was something Lance hadn’t ever seen before, a 1940 Chevrolet Dubl Duty. The guys on the YouTube series Turnin’ Rust reached out to us about a recent find they made and boy is it a cool one! Lance Bush and his dad hunt down rusty gold (which they document on their channel) and they are huge fans of step vans, so when a friend gave him a tip on a super rare one, they just had to go take a look.
